As a follow up to my previous post on pesticides I’d like to point out some great places to slow down the pace and shop for delicious foods: Toronto’s Organic and Farmers’ Markets. In the summer they are held outdoors, while in the winter a few continue indoors. Check them out…

    Another really convienient way to get organic (and often local) produce is to get it delivered to your door! In Toronto, Front Door Organics and Green Earth Organics can deliver fruits and veggies weekly or every second week to you. What I love about this is that it encourages you to try different types of fruits and veggies (since they give you a mix of whatever’s in season).

    Jessica: The organic delivery services are a great way to try new foods. It ends up being a little more expensive than buying at the markets but has both the creativity and convenience factor going for it.
