“Who is this guy?,” you might wonder. Or perhaps you’ve already heard of him? I think he’s worth mentioning again.

He’s an entrepreneur that found a way to do good and make a living at the same time. Mark is the ‘litter guy’. He walks around Toronto picking up garbage that hooligans have dropped and placing it in the trash can where it belongs. He isn’t paid by the City to do this. Instead, random passers-by who appreciate his work give him donations.

What a great idea! This is something that I would gladly give someone a few bucks for: helping to keep our city clean.

I had heard about Mark but had never seen him in the flesh until I bumped into him a few weeks ago on Queen West. I’m glad I did, and I hope we meet again.
