Bred’s Custom Shop has just opened on Dundas West, just west of Bathurst. They are a truly local shop. Local artists use locally made textiles to design, screen print and sew custom clothes, on the premises of the shop. Having just opened last week they have t-shirts and hats for local stylers to check out.
It’s nice to see another great place open on this stretch of Dundas.

A Patisserie to Delight

Untitled-5

Nadege just opened the doors to her shop on Queen Street West just east of Trinity Bellwoods Park. She is a fourth generation pastry chef from France who married a Torontonian. After many years living abroad they decided to move to Toronto and bless us with a great patisserie named after the Chef herself. They renovated this space themselves and it looks fantastic. They preserved the beautiful wood floors and modernized the rest, leaving it with a true European patisserie feel. Taste for yourself — you won’t be disappointed.

Bookhou Design, which I’ve been a fan of for several years, opened up a brick and mortar store on Dundas west of Bathurst. The store is absolutely beautiful. This Canadian husband-and-wife team design all kinds of lovely things for your home, including beautiful wood furniture, screen printed patterns on bags, housewares and children’s clothing. I suggest you check it out, especially if you have some gifts to buy.
